Caracas: Jordan's international search and rescue team, dispatched by the Public Security Directorate/Civil Defence, continues its relentless efforts in response to the catastrophic earthquakes that recently struck Venezuela.
According to Jordan News Agency, the team initiated its operations two days ago and has since successfully recovered several bodies from beneath the rubble. Among the recoveries, 11 bodies were found at two different sites in Caracas, including a collapsed 10-storey building.
The team, comprising internationally qualified specialists, is working in close coordination with the relevant authorities in Venezuela to maximize the effectiveness of the disaster response efforts.
