JRF and Jordan Engineers Association Collaborate on Green Entrepreneurship

Amman: The Jordan River Foundation (JRF) and the Jordanian Engineers Association (JEA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance collaboration in supporting entrepreneurship and green business incubation.

According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement was signed by JRF's Director General Enaam Barrishi and JEA's President Abdullah Ghosheh. The main goal of this partnership is to empower young entrepreneurs and engineers through various initiatives such as training, project incubation, and investor networking.

The collaboration is a significant component of the Green Business Incubators project, which is funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and supported by the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI). The project is implemented by JRF, utilizing JEA's Entrepreneurs Centre in Amman to provide training and mentorship focused on the green economy.

This partnership is expected to play an essential role in empowering youth and promoting Jordan's green economy. By enhancing access to resources for innovative engineers and eco-friendly startups, the collaboration aims to foster sustainable business models that contribute to a positive environmental impact.
