Amman: The Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) announced that classes will be conducted remotely starting Tuesday, August 12, until the end of Wednesday, August 13, due to the ongoing heatwave. Despite the shift to remote learning, in-person exams will continue as planned, and staff attendance is expected to proceed as usual.
According to Jordan News Agency, the university released a statement emphasizing that the decision was made to prioritize the well-being of students while maintaining the continuity of the educational process. The move comes as a response to the extreme weather conditions currently affecting the region, with temperatures soaring and creating challenging conditions for in-person learning.
