Karak Municipality Issues 20 Ramadan-Related Violations Since Start of Holy Month

Karak: The Karak Municipality has issued 20 violations since the beginning of Ramadan for hygiene breaches, traffic obstructions, expired food products, and unlicensed businesses. Sanad Hourani, head of market monitoring at the municipality, disclosed the details on Tuesday.

According to Jordan News Agency, inspection teams conducted 12 monitoring rounds on commercial establishments and markets, operating both in the morning and evening to ensure the quality of food products on sale. The municipality emphasizes taking necessary legal measures against violations detected by its health department or reported by the public.

Hourani urged citizens to report any breaches and ensure compliance with health standards before selling food products. He also called on traders to adhere to health regulations to safeguard public safety.
