Karak: Specialized teams from the Karak Civil Defense Directorate have successfully rescued eight individuals of Arab nationality who were trapped by floodwaters in the Al-Lajun area of Karak Governorate. According to Jordan News Agency, the Director of Karak Civil Defense reported that the teams responded promptly to a distress call regarding the affected family. Due to the challenging terrain and the presence of mud and clay, the teams covered approximately 3 kilometers on foot to reach the site. Upon arrival, they utilized specialized rescue equipment to evacuate the individuals, ensuring their safety. The evacuees were reported to be in good condition. This incident underscores the dedication and efficiency of Jordan's civil defense teams in ensuring the safety of citizens and residents, particularly during severe weather conditions.
