The Karbala Police Department arrested 13 violators of residence terms and laws of different nationalities. A police statement said: "The Arab and International Police Department, in cooperation with the Tourism Security and Residence Departments and the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, carried out a campaign to search hotels, restaurants and shops in search of foreign workers and verify their identification papers." The statement added: "The campaign resulted in the detention of (13) violators of residence terms and laws, of different foreign nationalities, including those who work without official contracts, and they were referred to the Deportation Division to take the necessary legal measures against them."
