Amman: The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) has renewed its partnership with Pacific International Lines (PIL)-Jordan to aid in the treatment of underprivileged cancer patients at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC).
According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement was signed by KHCF Director General Nisreen Qatamish and PIL-Jordan Managing Director Imad Sakakini, with PIL-Jordan Chairman Radeen Qawar in attendance. This partnership will involve the addition of one Jordanian dinar as a donation to every bill for PIL-Jordan customers, with all proceeds going towards the support of cancer treatment for underprivileged patients.
During the signing ceremony, Qatamish emphasized the ongoing support as a reflection of PIL's commitment to humanitarian and ethical responsibilities, directly aiding underprivileged patients in accessing treatment at the center. She expressed appreciation for the cooperation, hoping to expand its impact in the future.
Sakakini highlighted PIL's belief in the KHCC's humanitarian services, which serve as a global model, catering to patients of various nationalities and ethnicities. He urged support for the medical institution, noting that every dinar donated contributes significantly to providing treatment for patients, offering them a chance at recovery.
