Jeddah: His Majesty King Abdullah II on Wednesday held a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the prime minister of Saudi Arabia, according to a royal court statement. The meeting took place in Jeddah and was attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II. During the discussions, King Abdullah II expressed his pride in the deep-rooted ties between Jordan and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the importance of maintaining coordination in areas of mutual interest.

According to Jordan News Agency, the King acknowledged Saudi Arabia's pivotal role in defending Arab and Muslim causes. The meeting also addressed regional developments, with special attention given to the situation in Gaza and the West Bank. The discussions highlighted the ongoing commitment of both nations to collaborate on critical regional issues.

The meeting saw participation from key officials, including Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh, Saudi Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, along with a number of senior Saudi officials.
