Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II, during a phone call with United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, emphasized the necessity of maintaining Arab coordination to effectively address regional developments, particularly in Gaza and the West Bank. His Majesty highlighted the serious attempts to displace Palestinians in these regions and stressed that any resolution should not come at the expense of Jordan and the region's security and stability.
According to Jordan News Agency, the King reiterated the importance of intensifying Arab efforts to support the resilience of Palestinians on their land, uphold the Gaza ceasefire, and enhance humanitarian efforts in the area. The conversation also included discussions on creating a political framework to achieve a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution.
Both leaders expressed their commitment to ongoing consultation, especially in light of the current regional developments.
