Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II, Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides, and Greece Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis convened a trilateral summit on Wednesday at Al Husseiniya Palace. This gathering marked the fifth Jordan-Cyprus-Greece trilateral summit and was attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.
According to Jordan News Agency, the summit focused on enhancing trilateral cooperation across various fields and strengthening the partnership between Jordan and the European Union. Discussions also included the latest regional developments. His Majesty emphasized the summit’s significance as a platform for consultation, coordination, and expanding cooperation in key sectors. The meeting aimed at deepening economic ties by increasing trade and investment among the three nations.
King Abdullah II reiterated Jordan’s commitment to advancing cooperation agreements established in previous trilateral summits. These agreements primarily concern the water, energy, education, and tourism sectors. He highlighted the strategic significance of the three countries’ locations, which serve as important bridges between different regions.
Furthermore, His Majesty underscored that the trilateral coordination between Jordan, Cyprus, and Greece, within the framework of their partnership with the European Union, contributes positively to efforts aimed at achieving regional and global stability and prosperity.
