Canberra:His Majesty King Abdullah II held a meeting with representatives of the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (AMEC) in Canberra. AMEC consists of more than 575 Australian companies engaged in the mining sector and related services.
According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions focused on fostering cooperation between Jordan and Australia in the mining industry. The meeting highlighted the potential for promoting investment opportunities in Jordan, with an invitation extended to AMEC members to explore these possibilities.
King Abdullah II underscored Jordan's preparedness to share expertise and capitalize on the strengths of the Jordanian mining sector to boost national economic growth. Alaa Batayneh, Director of the Office of His Majesty, was also present at the meeting.
