King Abdullah II Discusses Regional Cooperation with Kurdistan PM

Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II on Sunday received Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region in Iraq, Masrour Barzani, at Basman Palace. The meeting focused on the longstanding relationship between Jordan and Iraq, with the King expressing a strong interest in enhancing collaboration across multiple sectors.

According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions also explored ways to expand cooperation specifically between Jordan and the Kurdistan Region. The dialogue included current regional issues, particularly developments in Gaza and Syria. During the meeting, Prime Minister Barzani expressed his appreciation for Jordan's efforts, led by King Abdullah II, in promoting peace and stability in the Middle East.
