King Abdullah II Embarks on Working Visit to Sweden

Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II departed on Monday for a working visit to Sweden.

According to Jordan News Agency, King Abdullah is scheduled to hold talks in Stockholm on Tuesday with King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and meet with Sweden's Prime Minister, Ulf Kristersson. The visit aims to reinforce the friendly relations between Jordan and Sweden and seeks to strengthen cooperation in various areas. It also provides an opportunity to discuss regional developments and explore ways to achieve peace.

During the King's absence, His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein has been sworn in as Regent, with the swearing-in ceremony taking place in the presence of Cabinet members.
