His Majesty underscored the importance of intensifying international efforts to restore stability in the region, highlighting the necessity for all parties to adhere to the agreement aimed at ending the conflict in Gaza and ensuring the delivery of relief aid to the Strip.
According to Jordan News Agency, the King emphasized the significant role the United States plays in the region and its support for peace initiatives. He addressed the recent escalations in the West Bank, urging the exertion of maximum efforts to halt unilateral measures against Palestinians. The discussions also included the strategic partnership between Jordan and the US and explored ways to enhance cooperation across various fields.
Ambassador Waltz praised the partnership between the United States and Jordan and recognized the Kingdom's efforts in facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid to Palestinians. Earlier on Sunday, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II also met with Waltz to discuss the latest developments in the region.
