Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II on Sunday stressed the need to step up Arab efforts to bolster the humanitarian response in Gaza, during a meeting with Qatar Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani at Al Husseiniya Palace. The meeting aimed to address the ongoing crisis in the region and explore collaborative solutions to enhance stability. According to Jordan News Agency, during the meeting, which was attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, His Majesty affirmed that putting an end to the Israeli war on Gaza and Lebanon is the immediate step required to reach comprehensive calm in the region. The discussions underscored the critical importance of halting hostilities to create an environment conducive to peace and cooperation. The King highlighted the importance of implementing the resolutions reached at the recent Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit held in Riyadh, commending Qatar's efforts aimed at de-escalation and restoring regional sta bility. The summit resolutions are seen as a roadmap to addressing the complex issues facing the region, and the King's comments reflect a commitment to these collective decisions. Discussions also covered the deep-rooted ties between the two countries and means of expanding cooperation across various fields.
