King Abdullah II Hosts Meeting with Lebanese Army Commander

Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II received Commander of the Lebanese Army General Rodolphe Haykal on Sunday. The meeting took place at Al Husseiniya Palace and was attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.

According to Jordan News Agency, during their discussions, King Abdullah reaffirmed Jordan's commitment to standing in solidarity with Lebanon. He emphasized Jordan's support for Lebanon's efforts to maintain its security and sovereignty amidst ongoing regional challenges.

The meeting was also attended by key military and government officials, including Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti and Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh. The discussions underscored the importance of cooperation between Jordan and Lebanon in ensuring stability and security in the region.
