Madrid: His Majesty King Abdullah II met with King Felipe VI of Spain in Madrid on Thursday. The meeting focused on the importance of continued coordination between Jordan and Spain on issues of mutual concern, with an emphasis on elevating bilateral relations to a strategic partnership. According to Jordan News Agency, His Majesty commended Spain's support for the rights of Palestinians and its efforts to create a political horizon for peace based on the two-state solution. He highlighted the urgent need to halt the war on Gaza and ensure the flow of sufficient humanitarian aid to all areas of the Strip. The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh, and Jordan's Ambassador to Spain Raghad Al Saqqa.
