Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II chaired a meeting at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM), where he assessed the preparedness of the center and various state institutions in response to Israel's attack on Iran.
According to Jordan News Agency, during the meeting, which was attended by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, who chairs the NCSCM, His Majesty was briefed by Brig. Gen. Hatem Al Zoubi, the deputy chairman of the center. The briefing included preemptive plans and measures designed to safeguard Jordan's security, stability, and the safety of its citizens amid recent regional tensions.
The King emphasized the importance of maintaining close coordination among all institutions to enhance their ability to respond to any developments. He also urged the continuation of calls for citizens to adhere to public safety instructions.
His Majesty expressed his appreciation for the efforts of all state institutions and personnel working to protect the nation and its citizens.
The meeting was also attended by Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh, Interior Minister Mazen Farraya, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, General Intelligence Department Director Maj. Gen. Ahmad Husni, and Public Security Directorate Director Maj. Gen. Obaidallah Maaytah.
