King Abdullah II Stresses Regional Calm in Call with Iraq President

Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II, during a phone conversation with Iraq President Abdul Latif Rashid on Sunday, emphasized the importance of increasing Arab efforts to achieve comprehensive calm in the region, as stated in a royal court statement.

According to Jordan News Agency, the King expressed concerns over Israel's ongoing attacks on Iran, warning that these actions could potentially broaden the conflict and destabilize the region. He reiterated Jordan's unwavering position, asserting that the country will not become a battleground for any conflict and will not tolerate any threats to its security, stability, or the safety of its citizens.
