Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II departed for Doha on Wednesday to extend condolences to Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani over the passing of his father, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. Accompanying His Majesty on this visit is His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein.
According to Jordan News Agency, during King Abdullah II's absence, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II was sworn in as Regent. The ceremony took place in the presence of Cabinet members, ensuring the continuity of governance in the monarch's absence.
