Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II emphasized the necessity for the international community to support Palestinians in securing their full legitimate rights during a phone call with United Nations Secretary-General Ant³nio Guterres.

According to Jordan News Agency, King Abdullah stressed the importance of intensifying international efforts to aid Palestinians and their resilience in their homeland, while also calling for a halt to settlement activities. He reiterated Jordan's opposition to any attempts to annex land or displace Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.

The discussion also addressed the importance of maintaining the Gaza ceasefire and explored ways to improve the humanitarian response and ensure the delivery of adequate aid.
