King Directs Government to Build New International Football Stadium

Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II has directed the government to build a new international football stadium to serve the Kingdom's sports and youth sector. His Majesty has emphasized the importance of developing sports infrastructure as a means to support and nurture the talents of Jordanian athletes.

According to Jordan News Agency, His Majesty also instructed the government to enhance the sports facilities at Al Hussein Youth City, Jordan's first sports city. This initiative extends to continuing the development of sports amenities in the capital and other governorates.

These directives align with the King's longstanding support for the sports and youth sector, acknowledging the accomplishments of Jordanian athletes. The King highlighted that the Nashama, who have proudly represented Jordan on the international stage, deserve comprehensive support from the government. This support includes the provision of high-quality sports facilities to further their development and success.
