King, Spain PM Discuss Regional Tensions and Iranian Aggression

Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II received a phone call on Monday from President of the Government of Spain, Pedro S¡nchez, to discuss the dangerous repercussions of current regional tensions.

According to Jordan News Agency, His Majesty called for an immediate end to Iranian aggression against Jordan and several Arab states, emphasizing the need for respect for the sovereignty of nations. He warned of the potential dangers that prolonging the conflict could pose, including exacerbating economic burdens both regionally and globally.

The King also expressed concern about the possibility of the situation in the region being exploited to establish new facts on the ground in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza. Such developments, he cautioned, could further destabilize the already fragile region and lead to additional conflict.
