KSRelief and JHCO Implement Emergency Food Aid for Over 25,000 Refugees and Families

Amman: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), in collaboration with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), is actively carrying out its emergency food aid project. This initiative is set to benefit over 25,000 individuals, comprising Syrian and Palestinian refugees as well as vulnerable Jordanian families across the various governorates of the Kingdom. The project is a response to the increasing economic and living challenges these groups are facing.

According to Jordan News Agency, the JHCO has been distributing food coupons to thousands of eligible families through a systematic plan. This approach ensures that assistance is equitably provided to the most vulnerable segments of society. The program's objectives include alleviating daily living burdens, satisfying essential food needs, and maintaining the dignity of beneficiaries.

The project is implemented through 103 accredited stores throughout the Kingdom, allowing beneficiaries to access essential food items at reasonable prices and assured quality. This setup enhances program efficiency and guarantees consistent service delivery.

Many beneficiaries have expressed their gratitude for the initiative, noting its timely intervention in meeting their urgent needs and reinforcing their sense of food security amid current challenges.

This initiative is part of a larger series of humanitarian programs jointly executed by KSRelief and the JHCO. It highlights the strong partnership between Jordan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
