Lower House Committee Expresses Condolences to Kenya and Ethiopia Over Floods Victims

Amman: The Lower House Foreign Affairs Committee extended its condolences to Kenya and Ethiopia following the devastating floods, landslides, and torrential rains that have severely impacted both countries. These natural disasters have resulted in hundreds of casualties and injuries, alongside significant material damage.

According to Jordan News Agency, the committee issued a statement on Wednesday highlighting the Jordanian Parliament's solidarity with the governments and citizens of Kenya and Ethiopia. The committee emphasized the urgent need for enhanced international cooperation to assist nations affected by climate change and the increasing frequency of natural disasters.

Furthermore, the committee expressed wishes for a swift recovery for the injured, safety for those missing, and offered hope for mercy upon the deceased, along with patience and solace for the bereaved families.
