Amman: Chairman of the Lower House Committee on Economy and Investment, MP Khaled Abu Hassan, announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Al Hayat Center - RASED for Civil Society Development.
According to Jordan News Agency, Abu Hassan highlighted that the MoU aligns with the House's constitutional role in legislation and oversight. He emphasized its aim to develop a supportive legislative and regulatory environment for investment within the Kingdom. The MoU reflects a commitment to fostering a conducive climate for economic growth and investment.
Abu Hassan further explained that the memorandum is rooted in a belief in partnerships with national research and expertise centers, with a particular focus on RASED. This partnership is intended to bolster evidence-based parliamentary dialogue on matters of investment and economic development. The lawmaker stressed that this initiative is designed to improve the quality of legislation and policies concerning the Kingdom's economic sector, ensuring they accurately reflect their impact on both national and local economic performance.
