Amman:Lower House Speaker Ibrahim Tarawneh and Prime Minister Jafar Hassan met on Wednesday to emphasize the significance of cooperation between the legislative and executive branches, adhering to the Constitution.
According to Jordan News Agency, during their meeting, Prime Minister Hassan extended his congratulations to Speaker Tarawneh and the members of the Lower House's Permanent Bureau for gaining the confidence of their fellow lawmakers.
The discussion highlighted the necessity of ongoing consultation on legislation and other mutual concerns to serve the public interest, ensuring the legislative and executive branches perform complementary roles. Tarawneh pointed out that this cooperation is crucial for implementing His Majesty King Abdullah II's Speech from the Throne into actionable programs that enhance citizens' lives and fulfill their aspirations.
