Amman: Lower House Speaker Mazen Qadi on Monday emphasized the importance of leveraging accumulated national expertise and enhancing the presence of qualified individuals in state institutions to serve the country's best interests.
According to Jordan News Agency, in remarks made during a meeting with a Jordanian Diplomatic Club team consisting of former ambassadors, Qadi highlighted the significant achievements of Jordanian diplomacy across various fields. He noted that ex-diplomats represent a national reservoir of expertise, equipped with extensive knowledge and experience in diplomatic work and international relations. This expertise, he argued, should be harnessed to benefit the state, promote Jordan's interests, and reinforce its position in regional and international forums.
The head of the team, former ambassador Nabil Masarweh, underscored the importance of ongoing communication and cooperation with the legislature. He stressed the need to draw on the expertise of former ambassadors to address various foreign relations issues effectively.
