Madaba: The Greater Madaba Municipality has begun implementing a JD150,000 stormwater drainage project designed to upgrade infrastructure, improve winter preparedness, and prevent water accumulation in flood-prone areas.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Mayor of Madaba, Haitham Juwainat, stated that the initiative addresses critical field assessments conducted by the municipality's technical teams. The project aims to enhance drainage efficiency, safeguard roads, and maintain smooth traffic flow during heavy rainfall.
