Amman: Makassed Charitable Society Hospital, affiliated with the Jordanian Zakat Fund of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, organized a free medical day in the Husseiniya district of Ma'an Governorate, facilitated by a specialized medical team.
According to Jordan News Agency, the hospital's director general, Dr. Bassam Shloul, mentioned that the free medical day included medical and laboratory tests for patients, alongside necessary medications and treatments. Dr. Shloul revealed that 286 patients received medical services, and an ultrasound device was available for pregnant women in the area.
Dr. Shloul emphasized that this initiative is part of the hospital's strategy to provide free medical services to local communities in Jordan, with backing from the Zakat Fund. Since 2018, the hospital has conducted 110 free medical days across various governorates in the Kingdom, benefiting over 65,000 patients.
