Manshiyat Bani Hasan Municipality Achieves Significant Cost Savings on Winter Readiness

Manshiyat Bani Hasan:The municipality in Mafraq Governorate has reported a 40 percent reduction in costs related to its operational budget for winter preparedness compared to previous years.

According to Jordan News Agency, this financial saving is attributed to a strategic shift in fiscal management and enhanced spending efficiency. The new approach allows the municipality to allocate resources to other service priorities while still meeting all technical requirements and maintaining winter readiness standards, thereby ensuring long-term financial sustainability.

The municipality has also completed the fifth phase of its rain season readiness plan. This includes activities such as clearing culverts and valley drainage paths, addressing structural bottlenecks to mitigate flash flood risks, enhancing drainage efficiency, removing environmental hazards along watercourses, and conducting thorough inspections of drainage infrastructure.
