Mu'tah: Maqasid Charity Hospital (MCH), affiliated with the Zakat Fund of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Places, has provided free medical treatment to more than 65,000 patients, with the latest effort taking place in the Mu'tah region of Southern Mazar district. The hospital recently organized a free medical day, during which a diverse medical team offered services to the local community.
According to Jordan News Agency, the hospital's director general, Dr. Bassam Shloul, stated that the medical day is part of the broader preaching and guidance forums, which are sponsored by the Minister of Awqaf, Dr. Mohammad Khalayleh. The event featured medical and laboratory tests for patients, as well as the distribution of free medication and treatment.
During the event, 392 patients received medical services, and an ultrasound device was used to test pregnant women. Dr. Shloul emphasized that this initiative is part of the hospital's ongoing commitment to support local communities by providing free medical services.
Since its inception in 2018, Maqasid Charity Hospital has conducted 114 free medical days across the nation, significantly impacting the lives of more than 65,000 patients.
