Iranian President Masoud Bazeshkian was sworn in as the ninth president of the republic on Tuesday in a ceremony attended by foreign dignitaries. The swearing-in comes two days after Bazeshkian, 69, officially assumed the presidency during his inauguration ceremony by the Islamic Republic's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
