The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, said that we have a strong will to combat corruption, noting that enhancing transparency is a top priority in our government program. This came during the launch of the ceremony to announce the first strategic report to combat corruption in the public sector, today, which was prepared by the Integrity Commission in the region, in a new step towards enhancing transparency and eradicating corruption. The ceremony was attended by an elite group of figures, including the Chairman of the Integrity Commission in the region, Dr. Ahmed Anwar, and the Chairman of the Federal Integrity Commission, Haider Hanoun, in addition to a number of Ambassadors, diplomats, and representatives of the United Nations, and a large gathering of government officials and elites. In his speech on this occasion, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government praised the efforts made by the Integrity Commission in preparing this report, stressing that eli minating corruption and reducing the waste of public money are top priorities of the government program.
