Amman: Minister of State for Public Sector Development Badriya Balbisi recently visited Al al-Bayt University and the Institute of Public Administration (IPA)'s branch at Yarmouk University to assess the progress of the Enhancing Frontline Workers' Capacities program. Balbisi was joined by IPA's Director General, Siham Khawaldeh, as part of the government's plan to broaden training access across various governorates.
According to Jordan News Agency, Balbisi emphasized the importance of creating conducive training environments to facilitate employee participation and minimize financial and logistical challenges. She highlighted that such measures are crucial for sustaining public sector training programs and ensuring wider employee engagement throughout the governorates.
Balbisi reiterated that training is essential in boosting employee skills and enhancing government performance, which ultimately leads to better services for citizens. Khawaldeh supported this view, stating that the implementation of the program in all governorates demonstrates the institute's dedication to extending its training efforts across the Kingdom.
Khawaldeh mentioned that the institute continually updates its training content to align with administrative modernization goals and the needs of government institutions. The program specifically targets employees who interact directly with citizens, aiming to empower them to provide high-quality services.
She added that the institute regularly conducts field visits to various governorates to monitor the program's progress and ensure that objectives are being met effectively. Participants of the program have expressed appreciation for the practical sessions, noting improvements in their professional skills and the ability to tackle everyday workplace challenges.
Beneficiaries also expressed a desire for ongoing in-person training opportunities to facilitate direct interaction and experience-sharing.
