Cairo:Government Communication Minister Mohammad Momani attended the 56th Ordinary Session of the Council of Arab Information Ministers at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo on Wednesday.
According to Jordan News Agency, Momani emphasized the importance of treating media as a strategic sector to protect public awareness from disinformation and fake news. He highlighted the need for the Arab world to adapt to rapid advancements in artificial intelligence and digital media, advocating for enhanced Arab media capabilities. Momani also reiterated Jordan's commitment to sharing its expertise to foster regional media collaboration.
Additionally, Momani stressed that the Palestinian cause remains the foremost priority of joint Arab efforts. He underscored the media's critical role in documenting facts, exposing violations, and defending Palestinian rights.
