Minister of Communications, Hiyam Al-Yasiri announced today, Friday, an increase in revenues from international communications capacities across Iraq. Al-Yasiri said in a statement: "The international communications capacities (transit) that the ministry succeeded in passing through Iraq amounted to (1400G) until the middle of this year after it was 10G over the previous years of this government." She added, "The ministry was able to achieve a significant increase in financial revenues from transit capacities, which amounted to one million and eight hundred thousand dollars until the middle of this year after it was three hundred and thirty-six thousand and one hundred and fifty-two dollars during 2022."
