Minister of Foreign Affairs meets with the Head of the Sovereign Council of Sudan

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, met on September 25, 2024, with the Head of the Sovereign Council of Sudan, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. Minister Abdelatty conveyed greetings from President El-Sisi to the Head of the Sovereign Council, who expressed his appreciation for Egypt's efforts in supporting Sudan, and conveyed his greetings to President El-Sisi. Minister Abdelatty affirmed that Egypt continues its efforts aimed at supporting our Sudanese brothers in getting out of their crisis, preserving Sudan's unity and sovereignty and supporting its institutions. In this context, he hailed the facilitations provided by the Sudanese government to deliver humanitarian aid via the Adre crossing on the Sudanese-Chadian border, expressing his aspiration for sisterly Sudan to restore its security and stability as soon as possible.
