Amman: Minister of State for Public Sector Development Khair Abu Saileik held a meeting with the head and members of the Jordan Press Association (JPA) to discuss the JPA's role in supporting journalism.
According to Jordan News Agency, Abu Saileik congratulated the JPA leadership on gaining the confidence of their fellow journalists. He underscored the JPA's efforts in advancing journalism and media professions, stressing the importance of aligning with ongoing modernisation efforts within the industry.
Abu Saileik reiterated the Prime Minister's directives to maintain open communication channels with the JPA and competent sectors. He assured the Association's members of the government's readiness to address their concerns, particularly those related to administrative development and adapting to key industry changes that can enhance workflow and working conditions.
JPA President Tareq Momani and Council members discussed various administrative and operational issues affecting media workers, emphasizing their commitment to improving the work environment and professional standards.
