Minister Shdeifat Engages in Youth and Sports Activities in Ajloun

Ajloun: Minister of Youth, Yazan Shdeifat, participated in a series of youth and sports activities organized by the Youth Directorate in Ajloun. The events took place on Saturday and included various competitions and discussions aimed at engaging young people in the region.

According to Jordan News Agency, the activities featured a Ramadan competition and a chess tournament, which saw active participation from youth members of the Ajloun Youth and Shabab Ebin Abilin centers, as well as the All Jordan Youth Commission (AJYC). In addition to these events, a discussion session was held focusing on the virtues of the holy month of Ramadan, with contributions from members of the Ajloun Youth Center.

The day concluded with a dialogue session involving members from the Ajloun Youth and Shabab Ebin Abilin centers. Minister Shdeifat used this opportunity to emphasize the ministry's dedication to developing and activating youth centers. He highlighted the importance of offering youth programs that are in line with technological advancements and entrepreneurship, which are essential for preparing young people for future employment opportunities.

Shdeifat also underscored the significance of promoting volunteer work programs within youth centers. He pointed to the Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Work as an initiative that aims to cultivate a culture of volunteering and recognize the contributions of individuals, organizations, and volunteer teams.

During the meeting, young participants presented several ideas and initiatives intended to energize youth work in the Ajloun governorate. Concluding the activities, Minister Shdeifat honored Quran memorizers and awarded winners of the religious competition and chess championship.
