Ministry Issues Tender for Barley Purchase

Amman: The Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply has issued a tender to procure 100,000 to 120,000 tons of barley. Interested parties are encouraged to participate in this procurement process.

According to Jordan News Agency, bidders can obtain the necessary tender documents from the ministry's tenders department for a non-refundable fee of JD650. The deadline for submitting offers is set for 3:30 p.m. next Wednesday, giving potential bidders a limited timeframe to prepare their submissions.

To qualify for participation, bidders must meet several requirements. These include providing a valid professional license, presenting a commercial register certificate issued within 30 days of the bid opening date, and showing proof of registration with a chamber of commerce. The ministry emphasizes the importance of adhering to these criteria to ensure a fair and transparent bidding process.
