The Ministry of Interior announced today, Wednesday, that it conducted an experiment to test the capabilities of a drone in protecting the borders. The ministry's spokesman, Brigadier General Muqdad Miri, said in a statement: "Today, a reconnaissance drone was tested in the presence of the Commander of the Border Forces, the Head of the Military Industrialization Authority, and a number of specialists in the Ministry of Interior and the aforementioned Authority." He added that "its range and capabilities for monitoring, surveillance, and reconnaissance were tested to equip the Border Forces Command with it to raise its combat capabilities and readiness to protect the Iraqi borders."
