Amman: The Ministry of Justice has unveiled its newly updated e-services portal, set to offer 100 e-services across the Kingdom's courts, as announced by Minister of Justice Dr. Bassam Talhouni.
According to Jordan News Agency, the launch is part of a larger effort to align with the Kingdom's modernization visions, including administrative, political, and economic reforms. The initiative aims to automate and digitize procedures, thereby facilitating transactions for service recipients. The portal was developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and currently features a total of 46 e-services, with 25 being new and 21 improved, as part of its initial phase.
Dr. Talhouni stated that the second phase will introduce an additional 25 e-services, followed by a third package comprising 29 e-services, culminating in a total of 100 e-services by the end of the year. He emphasized that these services are expected to enhance litigation processes by reducing trial durations and improving the business environment.
The e-portal is designed for user-friendly access, including features to assist individuals with disabilities. The portal underwent a trial period at the Amman Court of First Instance at the end of last month to address any issues before the full rollout. To facilitate seamless adoption, the ministry has also prepared guidelines and educational videos available on the portal.
