The Ministry of Transport announced today, Wednesday, the preparation of Iraqi airports and their readiness to organize the transfer of urgent humanitarian aid to Lebanon. The ministry stated in a statement that: "In light of the difficult circumstances that the brotherly Lebanese people are going through, and in line with the call of the Supreme authority and the directives of the Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi, the Director General of Airports, Abbas Al-Baydani, supervises the preparation of Iraqi airports to organize the transfer of urgent humanitarian aid to Lebanon." It explained: "This initiative comes in response to the humanitarian and fraternal responsibility that binds the Iraqi and Lebanese peoples, and in confirmation of Iraq's pioneering role in providing humanitarian support to brotherly countries."
