Azraq: The Ministry of Agriculture announced Tuesday it is seeking investors to establish a sugar beet processing and refining factory in the Azraq and Wadi Araba regions, as part of the kingdom's Economic Modernization Vision and National Sustainable Agriculture Plan. The initiative aims to enhance the country's agricultural processing capabilities and develop new value chains.

According to Jordan News Agency, interested investors are required to submit comprehensive feasibility studies that cover all phases of the project. A specialized technical committee will be responsible for evaluating all proposals and selecting the one with the highest economic viability. This investment opportunity is a strategic move under Jordan's broader initiative to boost agricultural investments and ensure food security across the nation.

The ministry has emphasized that proposals should be submitted to the Investment Promotion Directorate at the ministry's headquarters by January 30. To facilitate communication and address any inquiries regarding the investment opportunity, the ministry has also set up a dedicated phone line (0790210299).
