Moderate Weather on Monday, Cooler and Rainy Conditions Expected on Tuesday

Amman:Moderate weather is expected across most regions on Monday, with a notable drop in temperatures and scattered rain forecasted for Tuesday, as reported by the Jordan Meteorological Department.

According to Jordan News Agency, Monday will see clouds at varying altitudes, and relatively hot conditions are anticipated in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds are expected to be moderate from the northwest.

Temperatures on Monday are forecast to reach 27 degrees Celsius in East Amman and the plains, 25 C in West Amman, 24 C in the northern highlands, 23 C in the Sharah highlands, and 30 C in the Badia. The Jordan Valley and other low-lying areas will be warmer, with highs of 34 C in the northern Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, and 35 C in the southern Jordan Valley.

Tuesday will bring cooler and more unsettled weather due to a weak atmospheric instability affecting the country. Temperatures will noticeably drop, resulting in pleasant conditions in most regions and moderate weather in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Scattered showers are expected in the south and east, with occasional thunder, while brief showers may occur in central and northern areas during early morning hours.

Westerly winds might become active at times, potentially raising dust in the Badia. Temperatures are predicted to slightly rebound on Wednesday, with possible light showers in limited eastern areas. Another slight temperature rise is expected on Thursday, bringing moderate conditions to most regions and hotter weather to the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
