NNA - More than 18,000 buildings and facilities were damaged or destroyed as a result of floods resulting from Storm Boris in Poland, according to preliminary government estimates on Saturday, while some areas are still threatened by new floods, according to 'Fortune Press.' The Prime Minister's chief advisor, Jan Grabiec, told reporters today that more than 11,500 homes and residential buildings, in addition to more than 6,000 non-residential buildings, were affected by the floods. Also, about 700 buildings and public facilities were damaged or destroyed, such as 'schools, children's parks, sports facilities, administrative buildings, bridges and roads,' according to the report.
