MP Highlights Royal Support for Youth Empowerment

Amman: Deputy Speaker of the Lower House of Representatives Hala Al-Jarrah emphasized that young people receive direct care and attention from His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II. This royal support is aimed at providing and expanding opportunities for creativity, excellence, and empowerment in various fields.

According to Jordan News Agency, Al-Jarrah, during a meeting with a youth delegation from the RYS platform for youth work, noted that the youth sectors have experienced significant momentum. This development has resulted in new roles for the youth, making their involvement evident in nationwide engagement and sustainable development.

She highlighted that young people have transitioned from routine participation to taking initiative, contributing, involving themselves, and taking on leadership roles.

For their part, the young delegates expressed that the platform's mission aligns with the King's vision for empowering youth across all domains. They stressed that for youth-driven work to be successful, it must receive continued support and attention to ensure the sustainability of youth initiatives nationwide.
