Amman: The Ministry of Water and Irrigation announced on Tuesday evening the closure of the main gates of the Mujib Dam, following the completion of sediment removal works.
According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry stated that the measures included replacing the removed sediments with additional water volumes, which increased the dam's storage capacity.
