Amman: A person involved in the death of a citizen during a brawl in the Qweismeh area of Amman has turned himself in to Preventive Security agents.
According to Jordan News Agency, the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced that a brawl occurred on Friday evening in the Qweismeh neighborhood. The conflict involved a group of people and resulted from a momentary dispute.
The altercation led to the fatal shooting of one individual and left three others injured. The deceased's body was transferred to the forensic medicine department, while the injured were taken to Al-Bashir Governmental Hospital for treatment.
During the investigation, the spokesperson confirmed that the suspect surrendered to the police. Authorities have seized the firearm involved, and a probe is ongoing to uncover the circumstances surrounding the brawl and apprehend all parties involved.
